Christmas Classroom Decorations

I can't believe it is already January 6th!
I have been on vacation for the past 3 weeks and it has been so nice to sleep in, relax, and play with my 5 month year old puggle puppy Mater.
But don't let this adorable face fool you...he is the most energetic dog I have ever seen!
He is like the energizer bunny that keeps going and going and going....
I call him my little monster :)

The reason I had a 3 week break is because I work for the South Bay School District in San Diego as an Impact Teacher at Berry elementary. I work with small groups of K-5th grade everyday. I wanted to share with you the small amount of Christmasy things I did in my 5th grade classroom (I wish I did more, but I have two classrooms so it can get a bit time consuming!).

Here is a picture of our class tree with some gifts that the students brought for their secret santa gift exchange. I took this picture too early as more gifts filled up the table.

The door to my storage room.

My (still) unfinished root words, suffix, and prefix tree with some red and green ornaments.
I have not yet put leaves as we no longer have green butcher paper. :/

This is not Christmasy, but I still wanted to share.
This is our synonym grave site that some of my students created for Halloween that I have kept up.
I cut the "our synonym graveyard" using the Cutting' Up Cricut cartridge.
The white paper on the second window fell, thats why there is no white.

Have a great day!
